
A new documentary about the British heavy metal legends Judas Priest and their trip to the top of their career will have a world premiere at the 76th Berlinale – Berlin International Film Festival, which will be held fromand marks their directorial debut. It celebrates the great impact of Judas Priest’s music on the world music culture and their songs, inspiring generations of people. Their story, from humble working-class people in Birmingham U.K. to global metal legends has defined the sound and look of heavy metal for generations to come. The band has sold over 50 million records and released 19 studio albums. With their album “Invincible Shield”, Judas Priest became the first heavy metal band to ever release studio albums 50 years apart. They were nominated for a Grammy Award for “Best Metal Performance”.
