Alice Cooper’s definitive memoir, The Devil on My Shoulder, will be published on October 8, 2026 by Ebury Spotlight. It will be published in Bulgarian simultaneously by Hybrid Books. The book reveals Alice Cooper’s life from his youth to the present day and his evolution as a musician. Alice Cooper is the name of the band in which he was the vocalist. He accepted it and now Alice Cooper is the name of the world-famous godfather of shock rock. He tells stories of decapitated chickens on stage, blood and guillotines, dead babies, spiders and monsters. He talks about his problems with alcohol and drugs and how he stopped them. Stories about his 50-year marriage are also included. The musician also shows his romantic side. Last but not least, is his relationship with God.
