This is what American legend Chris Isaak says to Bulgarian media about his upcoming debut concert in Bulgaria this summer. The platinum-selling and Grammy-nominated artist is coming to Bulgaria at the invitation of Fest Team on June 22, at Vidas Art Arena. Then the Bulgarian audience will hear one of his most iconic love songs – Wicked Game – live for the first time.

The artist began his musical journey in his native Stockton, California and built a unique style by combining the rockability of the 50s with classic pop melodies. His lyrics explore themes that are universal to everyone, such as love, loss and nostalgia. With 13 studio albums, sold-out world tours with his band Silvertone and a career spanning over 40 years, Chris Isaak creates a unique intimate atmosphere that lingers in the mind. And his stage presence is truly remarkable – he always appears before the audience in stylish, shiny costumes. His music has appeared on both the small and big screens. It has been featured in iconic films such as “Blue Velvet” and “Wild at Heart” by the late director David Lynch, in Stanley Kubrick’s last film “Eyes Wide Shut”, in Tony Scott’s “True Romance”, and others. He himself has starred in numerous productions such as “Married to the Mob”, “Twin Peaks”, “The Silence of the Lambs” and “The Music You Make”.

Four days before his 70th birthday, Chris Isaak will perform some of his most beautiful and sensual songs for the first time in front of a Bulgarian audience on June 22 at Vidas Art Arena. Tickets for his concert are on sale at Ticket Station at prices of 51 euros.
