Bulgarian ethno-metal band Khanъ will have a concert at Varna Live Club on June 12th, 2026. The band has put an end to the speculation surrounding their name. Many fans were asking what the correct abbreviation of the band’s name is. The musicians said that Khanъ with the Bulgarian letter “ъ” is the correct name for the band.

“It is important for our identity as a band, and it should make listeners think about our history and about defining the processes that erased part of the Bulgarian heritage. We believe that there is no fan of rock and metal who agrees with these processes. I do not want to believe that someone can be part of these processes today. We highly appreciate those who take into account the facts and do not put subjective judgment above the will of the artists.” wrote the musicians.“

Khanъ is a band that combines modern metal and hardcore with Bulgarian folklore. It has started on the Bulgarian club scene with its interesting music and strong stage presence. The band was formed in early 2009. Khanъ managed to build its own signature and create an authentic sound. Their first album, “United States of Balkans”, was released in October 2011 and can be downloaded for free from the band’s website.

Khanь are making a promo of their new album “Битка” (“Battle”). After their concerts in Plovdiv and Veliko Tarnovo, they are coming to Varna.
