The rock festival Midalidare Rock In The Wine Valley 2026 has announced the signing sessions with the stars from the bands Eclipse and Visions of Atlantis on Friday, July 10th; Powerwolf, Gotthard, and Warkings on Saturday, July 11th; and Gloryhammer and Hardcore Superstar on Sunday, July 12th. The festival days in Mogilovo Village on July 10th, 11th and 12th promise to be wonderful. Main headliners will be the English punk band Bad Religion, the German power metal werewolves from Powerwolf and the German legends Helloween.

Midalidare Rock 2026 has announced two film screenings before the main festival program. On July 8th and July 9th the fans can see documentaries about football players. The first documentary is named “I Am Zlatan”, the story of Zlatan Ibrahimović, a son of Balkan immigrants who became a Swedish football champion of several decades. The movie is directed by Jens Sjögren and is based on the autobiographical book “I Am Zlatan Ibrahimović”, which the footballer co-wrote with David Lagercrantz. The documentary world premiere was at the Rome Film Festival on 21 October 2021. It was nominated for seven categories at the 58th Guldbagge Awards, and it won one award, Best Actor in a Leading Role for Granit Rushiti for his portrayal of 17-year-old Ibrahimović.

The second documentary “Diego Maradona” (2019) will be projected on July 9th. It is a British film about the Argentine football legend Diego Maradona, and it contains never-before-seen archive materials. It is directed by Asif Kapadia and it was screened out of competition at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. The documentary film director and writer Asif Kapadia is an Academy Award, Grammy and four-time BAFTA-winning producer, director and writer who works across both film and television. Kapadia is known for other movies such as “Senna” (2010), “Laika” (2021), “Amy” (2015), “Oasis: Supersonic” (2016), “Ronaldo” (2015), and “Robbie Williams” (2023).

The festival organizers prepared other attractions for the fans. There will be a football tournament “Rock ‘n Walk” for women and men on Saturday, July 11th, at 9:00 o’clock at the Midalidare Hotel and Spa terrain. On Sunday, 12th at at 9:00 o’clock at the same place will be the football tournament for parents and kids, “Mama, Daddy and Me”.

Each wine lover can join the Wine Courses during the festival days at the cost of 25 euros per course. Different subjects and wine regions will be presented by experienced lectures. It is necessary to be registered for the course you want to visit on rock@midalidare.bg.

You can try the “Midalidare Backgammon Masters” tournament on Saturday, July 11th at 12:00 o’clock and “Midalidare Blitz Tournament” on Sunday 12th at 12:00 at Midalidare Gastro Pub.

On Sunday, July 12th will be a Rock Quiz at 15:00 o’clock at Midalidare Gastro Pub. The people who want to join have to register on https://www.facebook.com/midalidarerock or at the Pub.

There will be a special program for the kids with actors from the State Puppet Theater – Stara Zagora. While the parents listen to their favorite bands, the children will be amused with wonderful spectacles, creative workshops, fairy tales and favorite characters, “The Dream Journey” interactive adventure, games, challenges and sports activities, aqua makeup, festival braids, and many more surprises.
