On the third day Moby closes the first edition of the festival
20 thousand people gathered at the Rowing Base on July 18th to immerse themselves in the world of Gorillaz. Their concert was long-awaited in our country, as the first and only one so far, and back in April, the one-day tickets for the second day of the festival were completely sold out precisely because of the British animation group.

With a set that lasted nearly two hours and included 20 songs, Gorillaz fulfillth the dream of thousands of fans in our country, and Damon Albarn did not forget to thank the Bulgarian audience for the huge interest and the endless applause. Of course, the favorite cartoon characters 2D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle and Russel Hobbs were also on the big screens the whole time with their curious stories. Gorillaz ended their concert with “Clint Eastwood” and “Feel Good Inc”, followed by a pyro show.

Immediately after them, the program of the second festival day continued with the participation of the Belgian artist Apashe together with the Brass Orchestra on the PHILLCOOL stage and with the show of Sofia Kourtesis on the PHILLRAVE. Before them, the three stages did not stop beating in rhythm with various international artists and musical styles.

Day two of PHILLGOOD was opened by the intercontinental Los Bitchos, who, with their curious instrumental mix of Latin rhythms, psychedelic, Argentine cumbia, surf rock and others, got the audience dancing in the early hours of the festival day. After them, the English post-punk duo Sleaford Mods took the main stage, and before the Gorillaz show, the provocative hip-hop trio Kneecap raised the temperature with some of their most famous and favorite songs.
A few meters away, on the PHILLCOOL stage, Bulgarian artists prevailed, who did not yield at all in terms of quality music to the headliners. The program began with the participation of the indie rock band Jin Monic, the hip-hop duo Gena and Bile and the indie band Hayes & Y with the special participation of Stanley. Under a nice shade, on the PHILLRAVE stage, Raredub, Kink and HAAi were giving themselves to fans of electronic music. This is how the second day of PHILLGOOD passed – with a lot of emotions, with social messages and only good music. The audience was again colorful and diverse, including from the youngest children to the oldest – proof that music remains one of the strongest bridges between generations.

And today is the last day of the first edition of the festival, which promises to be unforgettable. The main stage will once again be home to world-famous artists, with the program there to open by the American band Son Lux. Immediately after them, the baton is taken up by the Germans from Einstürzende Neubauten, and then by the British rock band Suede. At exactly 10:30 PM, the inimitable Moby will take to the main stage as the last headliner for the first edition of PHILLGOOD.

The other two stages will once again offer a wide selection of different bands and genres from 6 PM until the wee hours of the morning. The PHILLCOOL stage includes the Bulgarian indie rock band Hug or Handshake, the young duo from Bulgaria Lunikk, the electronic pop group Kadebostany and the electronic duo Thievery Corporation. And PHILLRAVE will once again feature popular names from the club scene such as Liubo Ursiny, Pretty Girl, Kelly Lee Owens and Swimming Paul.
