After a period of silence and a creative transformation, Xandria are returning with renewed energy and including Sofia in their 2026 tour. The band’s concert will take place on October 8th at Pirotska 5 Event Center, where the Bulgarian audience will have the opportunity to hear the updated version of the band and their current symphonic metal world live.

Xandria is among the established names in symphonic metal, with a career spanning more than two decades. The band combines heavy guitar riffs with orchestral arrangements and melodic vocals, building a sound that balances between classical influence and modern metal aesthetics, and over the years they have created a recognizable style and left their mark with songs such as “Ravenheart”, “Valentine” and “Nightfall”.

The German symphonic metal band will release their new album “Eclipse” after two days, on August 7th via Napalm Records. Today they released the title song “Eclipse” with the Sofia Session Orchestra & Choir. The video is a creation of Witzki Visions studio.

The latest stage in the band’s development came in 2023 with vocalist Ambre Vourvahis, whose wide range – from operatic lines to aggressive vocals – significantly expanded the band’s sonic possibilities. This transformation is expressed in the album “The Wonders Still Awaiting”, which received a strong international response upon its release and reached top positions in charts such as the German Top 10 and the UK Rock & Metal chart.

In 2024, the band continued this line with the EP “Universal Tales”, which added new layers to their sound, exploring different themes and musical directions – from symphonic hymns and orchestral compositions to Celtic influences and acoustic interpretations, and demonstrating their ability to develop and change their style without losing their essence.

Xandria’s live performances are built as a complete audiovisual experience – with dense orchestrations, strong dynamics and a clearly expressed atmosphere that gradually unfolds before the audience. On stage, their music moves like a coherent narrative, in which each composition adds a new layer to the overall picture – an approach that the Bulgarian audience will be able to experience live on October 8 at the Pirotska 5 Event Center, thanks to the organiser Fest Team.
