
News from Dinkelsbühl, Germany, September 4, 2026: Enthusiastic fans set a historic pre-sale record just days after the end of the festival. A few days after the end of Summer Breeze 2026 the organizers were able to officially announce “Sold Out” for first time in the festival’s history. This confirms it: The independent “‘Summer Breeze” is on a roll!
Demand for the anniversary edition of the festival is higher than ever before. The fact that all festival tickets for all days, including camping, have already sold out so early represents a new milestone in the history of “‘Summer Breeze”.
“We are overwhelmed by this incredible response. That so many fans are already securing their tickets for next year’s festival just a few days after “‘Summer Breeze” 2026 is anything but a given. We would like to thank them from the bottom of our hearts,” said CEO & Founder Achim Ostertag.

The anticipation for the 30th anniversary of Summer Breeze is already enormous. The anniversary edition will take place in Dinkelsbühl, Germany, from August 18th to August 21st 2027, and promises to be a truly special festival experience.

A particular highlight of the first wave of bands is certainly Summer Breeze Legends & Orchestra. To celebrate its 30th anniversary, an all-star band, the 40-piece Leipzig Philharmonic Orchestra, and numerous guest stars will bring together metal classics in a unique show on the main stage. Arranged by Chris Harms and Corvin Bahn, this will be a spectacular sonic experience, conceived especially for the anniversary year.
For those who still want to attend despite the sold-out festival tickets, there is a way: Day tickets will be available in limited numbers starting in December. Information regarding the start of day ticket sales will be announced in due course on www.summer-breeze.de
