Robbie Williams, the ultimate showman of British pop, is coming to Plovdiv next year to headline the opening night of PHILLGOOD 2027. Following a summer that brought together thousands of happy fans and set high expectations for the future, the festival is responding with the announcement of this British superstar. From July 16th to 18th, 2027, PHILLGOOD returns to the Rowing Canal in Europe’s oldest living city, aiming to surpass the success of its inaugural edition. Tomorrow at 10:00 AM, the presale for PHILLGOOD 2027 tickets begins via the Ticket Station network for all Mastercard holders. On Saturday and Sunday, Fest Club members will have access to tickets. General sales for the remaining tickets start on Monday at 10:00 AM, with prices set at €99 for a one-day ticket and €199 for a three-day ticket. Robbie Williams is the first name Fest Team is announcing as it begins assembling the musical puzzle for PHILLGOOD 2027. He returns to Bulgaria following his 2025 concert at the Vasil Levski Stadium, where over 40,000 people welcomed him to Sofia and tens of thousands of fans sang along to the finale, “Angels.” The magic of every encounter with Robbie lies in the paradox of the massive stage versus the feeling that he is singing directly to you.
Robbie Williams is one of the world’s most successful musical artists, with 90 million albums sold globally, six of the top 100 best-selling albums in British history, and a record-breaking 16 number-one albums in the UK. With BRITPOP—his 16th album—he once again topped the UK charts, breaking his own record for the artist with the most number-one albums in Britain. Throughout his career, Robbie has won a record 18 BRIT Awards, 8 German ECHO Awards, 3 MTV Europe Awards, and received 2 Grammy nominations. In 2025, he received the “PRS for Music Icon” award at the Ivors—his fifth Ivor Novello Award—cementing his status among the most iconic and influential British songwriters. The next date with the greatest showman of British pop at PHILLGOOD is July 16, 2027.
The festival’s inaugural edition set a high bar; over three days, the Rowing Canal venue hosted more than 35 Bulgarian and international bands, while The Cure, Gorillaz, and Moby drew audiences of diverse ages and nationalities—with over 25% of attendees coming from abroad. The event garnered media coverage from Italy, Greece, the UK, Germany, Serbia, Romania, Turkey, and the Netherlands. Together with Hills of Rock, this festival-filled July made Plovdiv a destination for over 60,000 spectators across a two-week period. In terms of the facilities and experience it offers, PHILLGOOD now stands on par with established European festivals. Attention to detail remains a top priority for 2027—from specialized flooring in front of all stages and a dedicated media center to sign language interpretation as part of the “Music is for Everyone” initiative, a viewing platform for people with mobility impairments, and the use of “Refill, Reuse, Repeat” reusable cups.
Ticket presales for PHILLGOOD 2027 begin tomorrow at 10:00 AM via the Ticket Station network, exclusively for Mastercard holders. On Saturday and Sunday, Fest Club members will have access to tickets. Any remaining tickets will go on general sale on Monday at 10:00 AM, priced at €99 for a one-day pass and €199 for a three-day pass. Three-day camping passes are also available starting at €66, with caravan passes starting at €88. It is worth noting that the initial early-bird tickets for next year’s event sold out even before the first artist was announced. PHILLGOOD is organized by Fest Team Ltd. as part of the “Legacy 2023” program of the Plovdiv 2019 Foundation and with the support of the Municipality of Plovdiv.
