The French melodic death metal band Aephanemer will play in Sofia on November 22nd at the Live & Loud Club (8 “Positano” str.). The music style of the band is strongly connected with the symphonic music and Slavic and Scandinavian folk melodies. The guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and composer Martin Hamiche says in interviews that the music of the band is influenced by Amon Amart, Children of Bodom and In Flames. The band was established in 2013 in Toulouse, France, and in 2014 they had a fast-growing fan base. The EP “Know Thyself” was released in 2014, and the debut album “Memento Mori” (2016) was accepted by the critics as a “strong debut”. In 2018 the band took part in Wacken Open Air, one of the largest festivals for metal music in Europe and the world. Napalm Records has noticed the band and re-released their second album, “Prokopton” (2019). Their third album “A Dream of Wilderness” was mixed by Dan Swano and was produced by Mika Jussila from Finnvox Studios. It was released via Napalm Records. Their latest album is “Utopie” (2025), again under the label Napalm Records.

The concert in Live & Loud Club, Sofia, will be warmed up by MoGa, a Bulgarian experimental death metal band from Sofia. Their style is melodic death metal with roaring male vocals and melodic female vocals, extreme drums, and technical guitar lines. They have a multi-layered sound. They released several singles in 2023 and their debut album „Where Do You Come From“, which includes known names from the Bulgarian and world music stage.
