Laibach At Sofia Live Festival On February 23rd

The Slovenian band Laibach will be guests in Sofia again. On February 23rd, 2027, they will present their concert via an invitation from Sofia Live Festival and the venue will be Sofia Live Festival.

The Solvenian artists will return with their new album “Musick”. It was released on May 1st, 2026, via “Mute Records”. The title track is featuring the singer Wiyaala. The album explores a world where music has reached a state of overproduction and where algorithms and artificial intelligence increasingly shape how we create, distribute, and perceive culture.

Laibach are composing industrial, neoclassical, art-pop, avant-garde, techno, symphonic, and other styles of music. Formed in the early 80s, the band is a national icon in their country because they often use social parody, military and political themes in their songs. During their career they recorded film, theatrical music, classical music, and other side projects. They are performing visual spectacles, used provocations, and were restricted by law in their country in their early career.

The concert on February 23rd, 2027, at Sofia Live Club offers an encounter with Laibach at one of the most intriguing moments in the band’s long history—featuring new music, new ideas, and that same unmistakable ability to transform the stage into a space where music, visual art, and a critical perspective on modernity converge.
