The Finnish diva Tarja Turunen has released a new song from her upcoming metal album “Frisson Noir”. The song features the amazing performance of Dani Filth from the English extreme metal band Cradle of Filth. The sound is symphonic metal with operatic and death metal vocals.


Tarja promises that “Frisson Noir” will be the heaviest album in her career. It will be out on 12th June 2026 via earMUSIC. The work will contain 10 tracks, and special guests are Marco Hietala (ex-Nightwish), Dani Filth (Cradle of Filth), and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers). The album is mixed by the Grammy-winning producer Neal Avron (Disturbed, Linkin Park, Skillet). There will be CD digipak, a black 2LP gatefold and a limited purple 2LP gatefold. A CD digipak with a 28-page booklet, a black 2LP gatefold with book 24-page vinyl-size booklet of illustrations, photographs, and lyrics, a box set exclusive 7″ vinyl single with “I Don’t Care (Tarja Solo Version)” and “I Don’t Care (Dani Mix)”, four box set exclusive animal print postcards, a box set exclusive DIN A2 “Frisson Noir” poster, and a fine art print signed by Tarja, will be available too.
