On November 11, Hall 3 of the National Palace of Culture will welcome three well-known names for fans of heavy music. At the invitation of the Fest Team, hardcore legends from Connecticut Hatebreed are coming to Sofia, and they are joined by Life of Agony from New York and End It from Baltimore – one of the most exciting new bands in the contemporary hardcore scene. Tickets for the event go on sale on June 10 for Fest Club members and on June 11 in the Ticket Station network at a price of 55 euros.
Hatebreed are among the most recognizable bands in the American hardcore scene. Formed in 1994 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, by frontman Jamey Jasta, the band has developed a distinctive style that blends hardcore and metal in an explosive mix of heavy riffs, aggressive energy, and lyrics about resilience, self-discipline, and overcoming adversity. Their ability to transform themes of loss, anxiety, anger, and personal struggles into cathartic experiences for their audiences is one of the reasons Hatebreed has remained so influential for over three decades. Among their most critically acclaimed recent releases is the album Weight of the False Self (2020), in which the band explores themes of emotional baggage, mental toughness, and overcoming personal crises without straying from their signature uncompromising heaviness. In 2025, they released their first new music in five years with the single Make the Demons Obey, and are currently working on their next studio album. The new period for the band comes in parallel with large-scale tours and appearances at leading rock and metal festivals around the world, which solidify their reputation as an uncompromising concert machine.
Special guests of the evening will be Life of Agony – a band that has been building its own place at the intersection of alternative metal, hardcore and rock since the early 1990s. The band’s history is also inextricably linked to that of vocalist Keith Caputo, who in 2011 publicly announced his transgender identity and in the following years adopted the name Mina Caputo. To date, the musician uses the name Keith Caputo again, and his openness on personal topics remains an important part of Life of Agony’s connection with their audience.
Combining the raw energy of hardcore with the melodicness and emotional depth of alternative rock, Life of Agony continue to be a band that manages to connect different generations of listeners and maintain their relevance decades after their debut.
Joining the evening’s lineup are End It – one of the most talked-about new bands in the contemporary hardcore scene. Formed in Baltimore in 2017 and part of the Flatspot Records catalog, they quickly attracted attention with their explosive concerts, vocalist Akil Godsey’s distinctive stage presence, and their uncompromising blend of classic American hardcore, punk, and crossover thrash. Their breakthrough came with the highly acclaimed EP Unpleasant Living (2022), which found a place in numerous annual charts of specialized media, and in 2025 the band released their debut full-length album Wrong Side of Heaven. With a reputation as one of the most energetic live bands of the new generation, End It promises to give a strong start to the evening in Sofia.
On November 11, the audience in Sofia will have the opportunity to see three American bands from different generations of heavy music on one stage. From the uncompromising power of Hatebreed to the emotional depth of Life of Agony to the explosive energy of End It, the evening will be a meeting with artists who have left their mark on the hardcore and alternative scene and continue to shape its present. Tickets for the event go on sale on June 10 for Fest Club members, and on the Ticket Station network from June 11, at a price of 55 euros. Follow the latest information about the event here.
