The Greek folk rock band Villagers of Ioannina City has shared a new video “Ghost In The Sky”. It is from their upcoming third album “Venceremos”. It will be released via Nuclear Blast Records on September 18th, 2026. On September 20th the bandwill be on the stage of Lycabettus Municipal Theatre to present the new album.

Villagers of Ioannina City are founded in 2007 in Ioannina, Greece. They play experimental and psychedelic rock combined with Greek folk music from the region of Epirus. It is characterized by polyphony, specific rhythms and tunes. The band uses clarinet, bagpipes, and kaval in their compositions, as is customary in folk music. Their other albums are “Riza” (2014) and Age of Aquarius (2019).
