Only 3 weeks left until the beginning of the Spanish festival for rock and metal music Leyendas del Rock. It is one of the leading Spanish festivals for hard rock and heavy metal music. This year the festival will celebrate its XX anniversary with the main headliners Helloween who are on their 40-year anniversary world tour. The American progressive rock band Savatage will have an exclusive show for Spain at the festival. Arch Enemy will present their new vocalist Lauren Hart. Sepultura, In Flames, Godsmack and Black Label Society will take part in the show. The power metal band WarCry and the folk metal band Saorum are the Spanish headliners. The timetable is published.

On the first day, August 5th, Thundermother, Savatage, Sepultura, Orbit Culture, Slaughter To Prevail, Black Label Society, Salduie, Heleven, Killus, Deathbaths, Hadadanza, Signs of the Swarm, Chained Saint, Prom Kinks and Tailgunner will perform.

On the second day, August 6th, the bands Mushroomheads, Dark Tranquility, Arch Enemy, Lèpoka, Creeper, Northlane, Godsmack, d’Artagnan, Ekyrian, Aneuma, Lándevir, Injector, Evo, Celtibeerian, and Bolu2 Death will shake the fans.

On August 7th the bands that will charm the crowds will be Future Palace, Saratoga, In Flames, Chez Kane, The Baboon Show, Stratovarius, Saurom, Xeria, Wings of Steel, Against Myself, Employed to Serve, Daeria, Mind Driller, and Jordi Wild DJ Set.

The last day of the festival, August 8th, be the epic final with Guilt Trip, Deicide, Helloween, Ankhara, Eihwar, Heaven Shall Burn, WarCry, Death And Legacy, Fallen At Dawn, Latzen, Hardline, Ten56, Half Me, and Cabal.

The festival Leyendas del Rock was founded in 2006 as a single-day event in Mazarrón, Murcia, with Spanish bands. Later it started to grow, and in 2013 it became a four-day festival and moved to its current location in Villena, Alicante. The new place allowed the organizers to add camping and multiple stages and to invite more international bands along with the Spanish musicians.

Villena is a Spanish city in the province of Alicante where the Cabezo Redondo treasure and The Treasure of Villena were found. Both treasures contain golden objects and can be seen in the Archaeological museum in Villena. Atalaya Castle is a historical fortress built before 12th century. The other famous event in Villena is the festival Moors and Christians of Villena, whose main activities are held annually between September 4th and 9th.
