
The Australian rock band Airbourne shares a new song, “Alive After Death” (Last Plane Out). It is from the new upcoming album “Airbourne”, scheduled for release on August 28, 2026. The song is a tribute to the immortal figures of rock ‘n’ roll, such as Lemmy Kilmister (Motörhead), Bon Scott (AC/DC), and John Bonham (Led Zeppelin).
Airbourne’s frontman Joel O’Keeffe explained the song highlights how playing rock music brings these legends back to life, stating, “We always say Lemmy’s not dead — he lives forever”.
Producer is Brian Howes, who has previously worked with the band on their album “Black Dog Barking” (2013). Sound engineer is Mike Fraser, previously worked with Metallica, AC/DC, Aerosmith. Zakk Cervini mixed the album. He has worked with Bring Me The Horizon, Machine Gun Kelly.
