The British heavy metal godfathers Judas Priest will release a career-spanning collection, “The Best Of Judas Prest”. It will be out via Sony Music on June 19, 2026.

Judas Priest is the band with an almost 60-year career. With their last album, “Invincible Shield” they become the first heavy metal band to release studio albums 50 years apart. A film about them, “The Ballad Of Judas Priest”, was premiered at the 76th Berlinale – Berlin International Film Festival in February. Directed by Tom Morello and Sam Dunn, it follows the band’s story from the very beginning in Birmingham, when they were poor workers, to the world stages and the big festivals. It will be released later this year.

Judas Priest sold over 50 million records and released 19 studio albums.  In 2022, they were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame by the godfather of shock rock Alice Cooper. Judas Priest’s lineup is: Rob Halford – vocals, Ian Hill – bass, Richie Faulkner – guitar, Andy Sneap – guitar, Scott Travis – drumms. Priest guitarist Glenn Tipton was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease more than 15 years ago but in 2018 said that he is going to stop touring with the band. He was replaced by “Firepower” and “Invincible Shield” producer Andy Sneap. He was a guitarist in the bands Hell and Sabbat.

Judas Priest will have a show in Bulgaria at Vidas Art Arena on August 29th, by an invitation of Fest Team. The concert is from their upcoming tour “Faithkeepers”.
