After a period of silence and creative transformation, Xandria are returning with new energy, including Sofia in their 2026 tour. The band’s concert will take place on October 8th at Pirotska 5 Event Center, where the Bulgarian audience will have the opportunity to hear their current symphonic metal world live. Tickets go on sale in the Ticket Station network.
Xandria is among the established names in symphonic metal, with a career spanning more than two decades. The band combines heavy guitar riffs with orchestral arrangements and melodic vocals, building a sound that balances classical influences with a modern metal aesthetic, and over the years they have created a recognizable style and left their mark with songs such as “Ravenheart”, “Valentine” and “Nightfall”.
The latest stage in the band’s development came in 2023 with vocalist Ambre Vourvahis, whose wide range – from operatic lines to aggressive vocals – significantly expanded the band’s sonic possibilities. This transformation is expressed in the album The Wonders Still Awaiting, which received a strong international response upon its release and reached top positions in charts such as the German Top 10 and the UK Rock & Metal chart.
In 2024, the band continued this trend with the EP Universal Tales, which added new layers to their sound, exploring different themes and musical directions – from symphonic hymns and orchestral compositions to Celtic influences and acoustic interpretations, and demonstrating their ability to develop and change their style without losing their essence.
Xandria’s live performances are built as a complete audio-visual experience – with dense orchestrations, strong dynamics and a clearly expressed atmosphere that gradually unfolds before the audience. On stage, their music moves like a coherent narrative, in which each composition adds a new layer to the overall picture – an approach that the Bulgarian audience will be able to experience live on October 8 at Pirotska 5 Event Center.
