The heavy metal legends Anthrax have released the first single “It’s For The Kids”, the first single from their new album “Cursum Perficio”. The full-length studio album will be out on September 18 via Megaforce in the U.S. and via Nuclear Blast Records in Europe. It is the band’s first album after “For All Kings” in 2016. The phrase “Cursum Perficio” is Latin and it means “My journey is over”, or “I complete my journey”, or “My journey has come to an end”. The band started work on the album in 2022 in Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 in Los Angeles. It is produced by Jay Ruston and Anthrax. The band doesn’t mean this is their last album, but they feel that their task has come to an end. It is a culmination of their compositions and a long path as musicians.
