Christofer Johnsson Announces New Song “The Fourth Way”

“The Fourth Way” from the Luciferian Light Orchestra is the opening track of their new album. The album is mixed and mastered. Its songs will be released as digital tracks with 6 weeks between each one. “The Fourth Way” presents a partial sound of the new album. There will be a variety of styles, compared to the debut LLO album. The vocals of the song are done by Taida Nazraić, Thomas Vikström and Nataly Ossman. The drums are played by Björn Höglund. Sami Karppinen plays in other songs from the album. The whispering at the end of the song is done by Christofer Johnsson.

“The narration at the end was done by myself. I had planned it to be a female voice, sounding a bit like an old hypnosis tape on cassette from the 1970’s. My grandmother had one for quitting smoking that I heard as a small child and I found it very creepy back then and wanted to recreate that vibe. But I completely forgot about it and remembered it just when I compiled the files for the mix. So I set up a microphone and just did it myself before sending off the files. In retrospect, I think it turned out just as good, but now it’s more like you hear a voice in a dream.” wrote the musician. “The studio where we mixed (Gizzard Studios in London) has an Automatic Double Tracking device and as Beatles fans, we of course wanted to use that on something. So we used it on some of the the vocals in three songs. Nataly got the honour of being the first one in this song.”

A bridge pick up on the Stratocaster is used for the rhythm guitars, which gives a brighter and clearer sound, instead of the usual neck pick up which has a darker and bulkier sound. The song sounds awesome.
