Lordi And Noora Louhimo With A Cover Of Johnny Logan’s “Hold Me Now”

The Finnish heavy metal band Lordi has invited the Finnish ex-Battle Beast vocalist Noora Louhimo, “The Motherbeast”, to record a cover of Johnny Logan’s song “Hold Me Now”. Lordi celebrate with this song their victory at Eurovision 2006 and the 70th anniversary of the song contest. The Finnish band will take part tonight in the grand final of the Eurovision jubilee edition.

At the same time Johnny Logan has recorded his version of Lordi’s song “Hard Rock Halleluiah”. He will not take part in the Eurovision grand final tonight because Ireland boycotts the event due to Israel’s participation. The Irish musician Johnny Logan has won the song contest three times – with “What’s Another Year” (1980),”Hold Me Now” (1987) and “Why Me” (1992).
