Fun Lovin’ Criminals In Sofia On June 20th

The American rock band Fun Lovin’ Criminals will play in Sofia on June 20th, 2026. The concert will take place in Club FOMO by invitation of Fest Team.

With over 30 years on stage behind them, the cult New York band Fun Lovin’ Criminals continue to prove why they are among the most magnetic live bands in the world. The musicians will present to the Bulgarian audience their first full-length project with new material in 15 years – the seventh studio album A Matter of Time, which was released last year and announced the definitive return of Fun Lovin’ Criminals to their characteristic raw, groovy sound, in which rock meets hip-hop, funk, blues and soul. The album was created by founder, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Brian “Fast” Leiser and drummer Frank Benbini, and the Grammy winner Tim Latham (ISP) worked on the mixing and mastering.

“This is an album that reflects exactly where we are as a band,” says Fast. “Throughout our 30 years, we’ve always stayed true to the music we love – and that our fans love.”

Formed in New York in 1993, Fun Lovin’ Criminals became one of the most recognizable names of the 90s. Their debut album Come Find Yourself reached No. 7 in the UK charts and went platinum, thanks to hits like “King of New York” and the iconic “Scooby Snacks,” which featured lines from Quentin Tarantino’s films Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs.

Their follow-up album 100% Colombian also achieved platinum status and included tracks like “Love Unlimited,” a tribute to soul legend Barry White, as well as “Korean Bodega” and “Big Night Out.” In recent years, Fast, Frank and guitarist Naim Cortazzi have played over 150 shows in more than 10 countries and shared festival stages with acts like Jamiroquai and Nile Rodgers & Chic.
