Dutch gothic metal band Blackbriar is coming to Bulgaria on September 26th on the small stage of Vidas Art Arena, at the invitation of Fest Team. The concert will be part of the European tour “A Thousand Little Deaths”, with which the band presents its self-titled third studio album and its characteristic blend of symphonic and gothic metal. Tickets for the concert are on sale on the Ticket Station website, with prices starting at 35 euros. More information about the event can be found here.
Blackbriar was founded in 2012 in the city of Assen, the Netherlands. After the success of its early singles and debut EP Fractured Fairytales, the band quickly attracted the attention of the metal scene, giving it the opportunity to share the stage with leading names such as Epica, Halestorm and Delain. Blackbriar not only combine the tones of symphonic and gothic metal – they create a dark fairy-tale world through their music, filled with mysticism, drama and strong emotion. The gentle voice of the band’s vocalist Zora Cock shapes the ethereal and rather dramatic tone of their songs, mixed with the deep instrumentals characteristic of the genre. The popular German metal magazine Metal Hammer compares the singer to famous artists such as Amy Lee and Kate Bush.
A Thousand Little Deaths is Blackbriar’s third studio album and the inspiration behind their current European tour. In their new songs, the band explores themes such as love, loss and death, while continuing to draw inspiration from myths, legends and dark tales. In addition to songs from their latest album, the band will also present their popular songs such as Until Eternity, Selkie and Arms of the Ocean.
On September 26, on the small stage of Vidas Art Arena, gothic metal fans will be able to enter the dark and mysterious world of the band Blackbriar. As part of their current European tour A Thousand Little Deaths, the audience in Bulgaria will enjoy both the symphonic nature of their latest compositions and established favorite songs from their repertoire. Tickets for the concert will go on the Ticket Station website, with prices starting from 35 euros. More information about the Blackbriar concert in Sofia can be found here.
