The Bulgarian band This Burning Dates will joins to one of the most anticipated dates of the Sofia summer. The band will open Cavalera’s concert on July 13, 2026 at the Maimunarnika club.

Formed in Sofia in 2011, This Burning Day are among the pioneers of metalcore in Bulgaria. Over the years, the band has participated in some of the biggest festivals in the country, including Spirit of Burgas, Hills of Rock and September Sun. In 2024, they were chosen as the official support act for American metalcore legends As I Lay Dying in Sofia, and in 2017 they opened the first concert of The Devil Wears Prada in Bulgaria.

So far, the band has released six singles, their debut EP “Elemental” and their debut full-length album “Our Heart”. In 2020, the single “Vent” won the annual Reynaers Top 30 ranking on Z-Rock radio.
In 2018, two songs from their debut EP “Elemental” were included in the soundtrack of the film Death Race: Beyond Anarchy, and the band members also participated in the film as musicians, performing their own compositions.

On July 13, This Burning Day will kick off the evening before the legendary brothers Max and Iggor Cavalera take the stage with the Cavalera – CHAOS A.D. MMXXVI tour, dedicated to one of the most influential metal albums of the 90s.
