Gloryhammer will release a new album on October 16th via Napalm Records. It will be their fifth studio album. The German power metal band Gloryhammer is a side project of Christopher Bowes, the frontman of Alestorm. The new album will continue the “Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards from 2015” epic saga of the McFife dynasty. In “Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath” the character Angus McFife V will go on a dangerous journey across spacetime and to the distant future in 1993, where is his destiny.

“Across eleven tracks, the band of heroes draw upon a more diverse range of influences than ever before, without ever compromising on the hook-driven, memorable songwriting that they are known for. From classic power metal to thrash, high energy synth rock to vast, sweeping orchestral soundscapes and more.”, wrote the band on social media.

The new album is produced by the band themselves and mixed by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amaranthe). Cover art masterfully created by the legendary Dan Goldsworthy.

The box set includes a digipak CD, an autographed card, an exclusive 7” bonus single and a set of miniature figurines depicting each of the band’s five legendary characters, limited to 700 copies worldwide. There will be also a digipak CD, the standard, deluxe and white label LPs and a Napalm store exclusive Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath T-shirt.

Gloryhammer will play on July 12th at Midalidare Rock In The Wine Valley 2026.
