Mayhem And Marduk Will Have A Concert In Sofia On October 9th

Norwegian black metal band Mayhem will come to Sofia on October 9th. They will perform at Hristo Botev Hall and will bring with them the Swedish black metal band Marduk as a special guest.

Over 40 years on stage, Mayhem are defined as pioneers of black metal stage and one of today’s leading black metal bands in the world. They became one of the most recognisable and discussed bands that changed the style and developed it, searching for new creative horizons. Today the band is in exceptional form with its current members Necrobutcher, Hellhammer, Attila Csihar, Teloch and Ghulm, who have played nearly a thousand concerts in over 60 countries in the world. Their tours in recent years prove that the band continues to be among the strongest concert formations in the genre, presenting an impressive show and a setlist that covers their entire legendary discography – from the cult ‘Deathcrush’ and the timeless ‘De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas’ to ‘Grand Declaration of War’, ‘Ordo Ad Chao’ and ‘Daemon’.

Mayhem’s special guests, Marduk, with more than 35 years on stage, are veterans on the European black metal stage. Founded in 1990, the band has built its own signature with its speed, aggression and impressive concert energy. Albums such as ‘Panzer Division Marduk’, ‘Heaven Shall Burn… When We Are Gathered’, ‘Opus Nocturne’ and ‘Frontschwein’ have long become classics, and their concerts are known for their relentless intensity and relentless sonic assault.

Both bands have previous experience with their faithful Bulgarian fans. The two bands at one concert promise an evening of maximum intensity and uncompromising musical energy.
